For domestic surfaces, we recommend a new epoxy coat every 4 years. Commercial applications may need a new coat after a period of 2 years or so. You can easily do it yourself by using a simple paint roller. If your pebble mixed resin installation is over 10 to 15 years old, then it is advisable to apply a relatively thick epoxy quote for better results.
What Is The Best Way To Mix Epoxy And Pebble Aggregates?
The resin must be mixed well with the hardener to create a homogenous solution. The pebbles must only be added after thoroughly mixing the resin and hardener solution. You can perform the mixing by your hand in case of a small project. Disposable plastic troughs may also be used if you prefer a hands-free approach. For large projects, a cement mixer is usually used to evenly mix the pebbles with the epoxy solution. The resultant mixture will provide a tough and anti-slip surface when applied.

A Munro instruments skid resistance tester was used to test the anti-slip range of our resin flooring products. The testing commission was quite impressed with the results, as the slip resistance range came out to varying between 52 and 63 in wet conditions.
